W.A.G.S.

Some say it stands for “Women and Gents of Southbank”. Others think it means “Wise and Gracious Seniors”. And still others think it is “Women and Gold and Silver”. Well, in truth, it is a bit of each of these. Our WAGS group is a combined ministry of our previous Women’s Ministry and the former Gold and Silver seniors group.

And, as the name suggests, the group is made up of a lot of “wags”….people who love the Lord, love each other, and love having fun together.

The WAGS group gets together every month, at least. Sometimes these meetings are at the church where we have some very informative visiting speakers and entertainers, and other times we hop in the church bus and head off on some excursion….or get together in someone’s home for a relaxed Bible Study and fellowship.

Everyone who comes along has an enjoyable time with a lot of fun, fellowship and, often, food!

This year's program includes some things that we haven't done before and we are looking forward to welcoming new members into our group as the year progresses.
